This isn't war.</p><p>Why are we sending our best young men and women to be slaughtered in this foreign land? "To help the people", they say. But who are the people? The <a href="http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/npcs/act1.shtml">lazy, greedy sycophants</a> who malinger behind the stockade of this <a href="http://www.diabloii.net/townsfolk/townsfolk-gheed-talk.htm">crude camp</a>? Who have long since given up trying to build something in the <a href="http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/maps/act1.shtml">real world outside</a>?</p><p>Or are the people those things outside the camp, alien and unknown? They say the outsiders are evil - demons, the undead, and foul beasts of the wilderness.
